What made the series stand out was the great roster of super villains, especially the Green Goblin, played by Willem Dafoe, and Doctor Octopus, played by Alfred Molina. A video emerged on Twitter recently of a behind-the-scenes moment from the set of Spider-Man 2where Dafoe tries his hand at being Doc Ock.

The scene takes place near the beginning of the film, back when the multi-limbed supervillain was just regular old Otto Octavius, a brilliant scientist working on a new form of energy source using two pairs of mechanical, prehensile arms. Willem Dafoe can be seen channeling the good doctor, loudly describing the details of the current experiment to reporters even as the environment around him goes haywire in the presence of the new energy source, to be CGIed in later.

The footage goes to show just how much fun everyone was having while filming the Spider-Man films, from the actors to the director. That was a different time for comic book movies, which were looked down upon in some circles as trashy b-movies unworthy of serious actors.

Dafoe, who was known for taking challenging roles in critically acclaimed movies, has spoken about how his friends were surprised when he took the role of Norman Osborn. For the actor, however, the experience was a welcome change of pace, and he enjoying hamming it up for the camera as the Goblin and doing a lot of the stunts himself.

While Dafoe is clearly having a blast playing Otto Octaviusthe role truly belonged to Molina, who brilliantly portrayed the character of a good man taken down a dark path because of his ambitions, before ultimately finding redemption at the cost of his life.

Meanwhile, Raimi will be returning to the Marvel universe as the director of the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel, a superhero who was actually namedropped in Spider-man 2 in connection with Doc Ock. Home Movies Television Reviews Entertainment.

Featuring Molina and the production staff, the video shows Dafoe taking over Doc Ock's robotic arms. The actor delivers a manic performance, joking that " This is what they want to see. Check out the video below, courtesy of Twitter user Nick Usen :. Marvel fans can expect to see new takes on previously established characters in the coming years. Sony has re-introduced Venom to critical acclaim, and Marvel seems primed to re-introduce other characters as well. In the meantime, Doctor Octopus has made an appearance in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Versealong with the Green Goblin, making them the most recent incarnations of the character.

Both of these were met with critical praise, and it's not unreasonable to assume Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse could serve as a blue-print for the reintroduction of these characters. There is something unique, however, about Dafoe and Molina's performances. Molina brought pathos to a difficult character, making his character arc tragic and dangerous.

Dafoe's performance was pure manic energy, and his Norman Osborn is seminal. It remains to be seen if any other Goblin and Doc Ock will measure up, no matter when the characters may appear.

Whatever happens, Dafoe and Molina's performances will remain iconic just like Spider-Man 2 itself. Source: Nick Usen. Dafoe and Molina are now so familiar in those roles that it's kind of a major mind-bender to think of the situation being switched-up, and Willem Dafoe actually playing Doc-Ock in Raimi's Spider-Man universe. However, thanks to a new Spider-Man 2 outtake, Marvel fans have gotten to see exactly how Willem Dafoe's would've played Doctor Octopus - and it is definitely something to see!

The scene being shot that day seems to be Otto Octavius' Molina initial demonstration to Harry Osborn James Franco and Osborn Industries, using the rare element tritium to conduct a fusion power project, using his robotic tentacle arms. The experiment seems to be a massive success until it goes horribly sideways, killing Otto's wife and fusing the tentacle arms to Otto's body.

Peter Parker Tobey Maguire is observing the demonstration and suits up as Spider-Man to save the day. However, the trauma of the accident and his new robot arms drive Otto crazy, and he starts in on a scheme to use the tritium to cause massive destruction, in vengeance against both Harry Osborn and Spider-Man.

The thing that people loved about Alfred Molina's Otto Octavius was the humanity that the actor brought to Otto, and his downward spiral arc into villainy. Clearly from the footage, Willem Dafoe would've seemed a lot more arch and over-the-top - I mean, who would've seen a scene like the one above and not thought, "Yeah, this dude ends up being the bad guy, for sure. Ironically enough, the arch mad scientist version of Doctor Octopus has become more popular in recent years: DaFoe's Doc-Ock looks like he stepped right out of one of the recent Spider-Man cartoon series!

However, Marvel's Spider-Man video game has also recently reminded fans just how good the slow-burn descent of Otto Octavius can be. Let us know in the comments! Marvel's updated release schedule sees Black Widow arriving in theaters on November 6th.

In other Doc Ock-related news, Chernobyl star Jared Harris recently poured cold water all over the rumours he would be taking on the role of Otto Octavius in the upcoming Spider-Man spin-off, Morbius.

Following reports that Harris will portray Dr Michael Morbius' mentor in the latest Spider-Man title, the actor played down any potential Doc Ock connection. But yeah, no, it's not.

For obvious reasons Bet365 are keen to make it as easy as possible for punters to move money into and out of their accounts. They do a good job of both and when compared to some of the smaller or newer online bookmakers actually offer way more options on this front.

I found getting money into Bet365 easy, quick and simple. They accept a range of major debit and credit cards as well as various different e-wallets and online payment options. All my deposits were free of charge and most processed instantly. Limits ranged depending on what deposit method I went for. I was able to pull up full list of deposit options by visiting the Bet365 website and scrolling to the foot of the page.

Here I found a link for withdrawals. After clicking I selected my method of withdrawal and the amount I wanted to cash out. Depending on the method I used, I tried a few, money was wither returned instantly or took up to a few days to get back in my pocket.

Well Bet365 currently hold a gambling license granted by the UK Gambling Commission, so yes they are. This means that to continue to operate they must adhere to the guidelines set out in the license agreement. My questions sent in via email were usually responded too within a couple of hours (but it does obviously depend on how busy they are). It was a simple process of gust giving them a call, waiting in line and when I got through help was at hand.

They rely on webmasters, like me, to review them with honesty and showcase the features they can offer punters as well as the piece of mind.
